Who we are

They were first called Christians in Antioch (Acts 11:26).
Likewise, we are simply called Christians. We have been purchased by the precious blood of God's only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ.  We are non-denominational Christians, meaning we are not associated with any denomination or group.

Jesus Christ is our example of how to serve others. Praising and glorifying God in worship and in life is our primary objective because of the good news, the gospel, which is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16). We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God, not on blind faith but on solid evidence. And that Jesus Christ is Savior, Lord and King who holds exclusive authority as the head of his spiritual body. There is no man or group who is authorized to legislate for his church. Without creed or hierarchy we are governed in faith and conduct by the bible alone.

The bible teaches that God the Father sent his only son to this earth for our salvation. This marvelous gift of salvation is for all who hear Christ's word, trust in him, repent of their sins, confess his name and are buried with him into his death by immersion into water. If we have been united with him in a death like his, for certain we will be united with him in a resurrection like his (Romans 6:3-5).

Our purpose together is to teach and encourage one another in the Christian life and to do the will of our Lord. It is our desire and also our responsibility to spread the Good News of Christ as stated in Matthew 28:19-20:" Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  (ESV)
